Description: Butyrub is a Polybutene Based Non-Setting Mastic. Very easy to apply. Forms an elastic and tight skin in 24 hrs but remains permanently plastic underneath. Can be painted over after 24 hours. Very good adhesion on many building surfaces. UV and weather resistant. Good resistance against chemicals.
Applications: Butyrub is used for the sealing of low movement joints with limited movement of up to 5%. As a sealant for joints in masonry, door and window frames and windowsills. For mounting of single layer glass in wooden, concrete and steel frames (e.g. greenhouses) As a sealant for joints in car-bodies, containers and caravans. As a lap sealant for sheet metal roofing.
Storage Conditions: Store in original unopened containers between 5°C and 25°C, away from sources of ignition.
